St. Louis (KSDK) -- Members of the St. Louis Cardinals World Series Champion team will travel to Washington, D.C. for a face-to-face meeting with President Obama, according to a source.
The meeting is scheduled for January 17, but additional details about the time has not been released from the White House.
The team will also spend time at Walter Reed Medical Center.
It is unclear which members of the team will make the trip.
The Cardinals went to the White House in 2007 and met with President Bush after winning the 2006 World Series.
