Obama hosts Jordan's king and St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday, meets with Panetta - Washington Post

WASHINGTON â€" President Barack Obama has a long agenda Tuesday, including hosting King Abdullah II of Jordan at the White House.

After his daily briefing and meeting with senior advisers, Obama will meet with his Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. The meeting will be streamed online at whitehouse.gov/live.

In the afternoon, the president and first lady will welcome the 2011 World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals to the White House. They’ll also recognize the team’s community service efforts.

Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will also meet with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta.
