Torry Holt, also known as âBig Game Holtâ who was an amazing component in the world of football has officially retired from professional football from the St. Louis Rams after Torry Holt signed just a one day contract with the St. Louis Rams.
Torry Holt is currently working as a part of the NFL Networks as an analyst ran more than 1300 years in every single season from 2000-05 as a player of the St. Louis Rams and Torry Holt also holds the honor of being the only wide receiver in the history of the NFL who was able to accomplish this feat. Torry Holt is also a seven time Pro Bowler in the 2007-03 seasons and the 2001-00 seasons.
In the decade that Torry Holt spent playing football, he managed to make 74 touch downs, 12660 yards and in a press conference the player said:
"I always tried to make sure that the fans understood how much we respected and appreciated their effort at the Edward Jones Dome on Sundays and leading up to Sundays," Holt said. "Their commitment, their passion, their love for St. Louis Rams football was outstanding. They gave us so much energy to go out there and perform, and do what we do on Sundays."
The main question circling Torry Holt is that if the player would be inducted in the hall of fame as he has definitely been a beacon of attaining new barriers in his entire football career.
Still a point to be considered is that Andre Reed and Cris Carter are still waiting on the award and it took Art Monk almost forever to be made a part of the hall of fame.
Initially Torry Holt signed a five year contract wth the St. Louis Rams when he came to the NFL in the 1999 NFL Draft and then the player went on to win the Super Bowl.
In 2009 Torry Holt requested to be freed from his contract with the St. Louis Rams and then signed a three year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, then the player signed a one year contract with the patriots and in the end Holt has decided to come back and retire from his roots.
