The 2012 St. Louis Cardinals' interleague schedule includes some very winnable games for the defending World Series champions. The first matchup with the American League comes from June 8-10 against the Cleveland Indians. The Cardinals are also one of the few teams that don't play an interleague series until June.
In all, the Cardinals have 15 interleague games this season, all coming against the AL Central. It could give the team a great chance to post some wins during the summer stretch and create some space in the National League Central.
