I haven't been a St. Louis Rams fan very long, even though I've been a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan pretty much my whole life. I only really started to follow the Rams when they recruited Sam Bradford as their starting quarterback. As a proud Sooner, I couldn't help but love Bradford, with his humble demeanor, his sheepish grin and his flat out incredible talent on the gridiron. Already spending many weeks every year in St. Louis, I was happy to follow Bradford's career as he led the Rams with a record-breaking rookie season. So, as a mom and a new fan, here's my list of the top five Mother's Day gifts any St. Louis Rams gal would love.
Number 8, Sam Bradford T-Shirt
Available in sizes XS to XXL, this comfy Rams t-shirt from Nike has the St. Louis Rams logo on the front and the number 8, and Bradford on the back. Let Mom show her team spirit and acknowledge her favorite player with a t-shirt she'll love to wear all season. Price - $31.95
Rampage Pillow Pet
What mother of young kids isn't familiar with Pillow Pets? They're pillows, they're stuffed animals, they're undeniably cute and cuddly. Now Mom can have a Pillow Pet all her own. When she can't go to the game, she can still cuddle up with her adorable Rampage Pillow Pet and watch the action on the couch. And if the game gets hairy, she can squeeze him and punch him and throw him in the floor. Price - $29.95
St. Louis Rams Gnomes
Does your mom love gardening almost as much as she loves the St. Louis Rams? She needs a pair of team gnomes to spread the team spirit right out into the flower beds. You can get male gnomes and female gnomes, but if you ask me, the grandma gnome is much cuter. Better yet, get them both and really spread the power of the gnomes this season. Price - $24.95 each
Rams Leash and Collar
Does your mother love dogs? If so, a St. Louis Rams leash and matching collar might be the perfect gift for her. This leash and collar set are available in various sizes, and they are emblazoned with the Rams logo and the team name. Mom can proudly show her team spirit every time she takes the family dog out on a walk, which might be more often since she'll be anxious to put her new gift to good use. Price - $22.90 for the set
Best BLT in the World
What's the one thing that would make game day even more fun? A stop at the Crown Candy Kitchen just five minutes down the road from the stadium for the word's best BLT and an old-fashioned malt or milkshake that will make you think you've died and gone to Heaven. No, the BLT doesn't have a Rams logo burned onto the toast, but Mom won't care. The massive sandwich is plenty big enough to share, so this is a perfect treat even for those on a budget. Price - less than $20.00 for one giant sandwich and two shakes.
