Missouri Tigers: Mizzou picked to finish mid-pack in SEC East

BIRMINGHAM, Ala - The Missouri Tigers are getting some respect in the inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference.

The SEC media picked Mizzou to finish fourth in the Eastern Division race.  The writers chose Georgia, South Carolina and Florida ahead of Missouri.  Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Kentucky round out the division.  The media selected LSU to win the overall championship.

Missouri returns several starters from last season's 8-5 team.  Senior offensive lineman Elvis Fisher and junior cornerback E.J. Gaines were named third-team all-SEC selections.
