Dave Sinclair Sports Open Line with Kevin Wheeler
With the NFC and AFC Championship games on this Sunday, it’s only right to start the show off with football. From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Jim Thomas, talks to Kevin about the Rams’ deal to play one home game each year for the next three seasons in London. This announcement has some pretty negative reactions. How will this effect the St. Louis economy? Also joining Kevin is Cleveland Browns’ linebacker, Scott Fujita. Scott talks about Team Gleason. A foundation dedicated to the former NFL Safety, Steve Gleason. Steve was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Later in the show, Kevin let’s KMOX listeners chime in on the news of the Rams playing in London. In the final hour, Kevin discusses the big news with the St. Louis Blues. Finally, they may have reached the agreement to bring in a new owner. Listen in to find out who. Tom Ackerman had a chance to sit down with St. Louis Billikens head coach, Rick Majerus. Tonight’s final guest is the radio analyst for the Missouri Tigers, Gary Link. The Tigers are battling Baylor this Saturday for the Big 12 Conference.
