St. Louis (KSDK) - St. Louis Blues signed forward Ryan Reaves to a two-year contract extension, as Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Monday.
Reaves recorded four points and 78 penalty minutes in 28 games last season during his rookie year with the Blues and has appeared in 25 games this season with 48 penalty minutes.
Armstrong says his "energy and tenacity on the ice are and will continue to be an important part of our team."
Reaves is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and was drafted by the Blues in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft in the 5th round, 156th overall.
