St. Louis Cardinals at New York Mets Highlight MLB Schedule for June 4, 2012 - Yahoo! Sports

The 2012 MLB regular season is well underway with nearly two months of baseball already in the books. It is still a long road to October, but paths are already starting to take shape and many surprises have already occurred along the way. The beginning of the year brings promise but at this point in the season anything can still happen.

The highlight of the day will be when the St. Louis Cardinals visit the New York Mets at Citi Field in New York City.

Kyle Lohse (5-1, 3.36 ERA) will take the mound for the Cardinals facing off against the Mets' Jeremy Hefner (1-2, 5.60 ERA). With Lohse on the hill for St. Louis, New York can only hope to be riding on the energy of Johan Santana's no-hitter a few nights prior if they hope to come away with a win.

With a number of great games to be played on the day, this will be one of the better ones.
